Explore Reiki Healing and Mend the Wounds Future and Past.

Reiki healing is a popular form of alternative medicine these days. It’s current form comes from Japan, but many believe its origins trace from there back to India.

Reiki is useful for both healing the spirit and the body, and works well with other healing methods. Reiki won’t bring harm, so it’s an excellent option to speed healing.

Reiki healing is spiritual in nature. This can be taken in two different ways: Firstly, it is a practice of the spirit. It is a way of using spiritual energy to help another. Secondly: It, like all forms of energy healing, it tends to work from the top down, working first on the energy systems, and then affecting the physical body from there.

The upshot is that Reiki in particular and energy healing generally are very good at smoothing the emotional wounds of the past.

The act of living means that we’re exposed to many different things, and this means that we will inevitably pick up some emotional wounds. Left untended, it can have a serious impact on your emotional balance and physical health. Reiki can gently re-balance your emotional state and ease the hurts of the past.

The effect on the body is generally subtle, but be ready to be surprised. Deep relaxation of the body is the least Reiki will do. Don’t underestimate the boon of deep relaxation. How often do people get to truly unwind these days? Letting the body get some downtime to repair isn’t to be scoffed at.

Beyond that, here are a few direct experiences I’ve had with Reiki. Burns have disappeared. Motion sickness has evaporated. Chronic pain has been kept at bay, and reduced over time. Surgery has healed up in a fraction of the time and with minimal painkillers.

As useful as Reiki healing is, it’s best used in combination with other healing methods. Of all the Reiki practitioners I’m aware, only one or two use Reiki as a stand-alone. All of them would urge you to see a doctor if you’ve got the flu or an injury. Reiki in conjunction with modern medicine is a powerful combination.

An interesting note is that Reiki cannot be used to harm. It just won’t do it. I tell a story on my site about when I got ambitious and careless and tried to use a technique I hadn’t been taught yet. Long story short – I wasn’t harmed, but I was absolutely taught a lesson. Reiki won’t harm, even if I might have deserved it.

Reiki is a huge area of study. This article is only a brief intro. Reiki can be used to heal through time, and over distance. There are also symbols that are handed down from teacher to student. There’s much for you to discover, if you’re interested.

If you’re looking to get into energy healing with a method simple yet powerful, I’d strongly recommend discovering more about Reiki.
