Church Accounting Software for Free
Need some help managing your Church’s finances? The tough economy has many churches looking for ways to save money. To save money, it helps to track where the money is going. Your church can save money by finding some free church accounting software.
Many Internet sites offer free church management software. However, these offers can be misleading. The following is a list of web pages that offer free church software along with any potential hidden costs.
The author is not the owner of any of these sites. The author only hopes to save time for those who may be interested in accounting software for churches.
Churchradius.com
Church Radius offers their accounting system via Internet. To use their church accounting software for free, your church must access the Internet.
Church Radius’ software appears to be genuinely free (not a bad deal!). One major consideration is the fact that all of your Church’s valuable data will be stored on the Internet – not the most secure place in the world. Also, free online software is usually riddled with banner ads.
Sunday Software
Sunday Software is a great page; however, they don’t actually manufacture and sell church accounting software. The site is well designed and has some good church resources. It also has fun resources for kids.
Churchtrac.com
Churchtrac’s software appears very user friendly. They also offer free software for small churches. In other words, if your church has less than 100 members the software is free. After 100 members the software is no longer free.
Churchbizonline
If you searched for the term (free church accounting software) at Google, then the first site you came across was probably Churchbiz. No offense to this site, but it actually doesn’t offer any church accounting options. It offers Open Office for free, but this is definitely not accounting software.
Like most things in the commercial world, your church will probably have to spend some money to get quality accounting software. There are some free options, but quality varies. All the best in managing your Church’s finances.
