When I think of Spring a whole host of imagery comes to mind – daffodils, spring lambs, and cherry blossoms. Spring is symbolic of new beginnings, so what better way to start your new life together than by saying I Do with an Spring Wedding!

The perfect backdrop for Spring would definitely be where you can capture the warm spring sunshine, such as at a beautiful country home, surrounded by rolling green hills with courting birds calling out amongst the hedge rows. Dine on fresh, seasonal, spring produce ” cream of Leek and potato soup, Roast lamb with garlic and rosemary, spring greens and jersey royal potatoes, followed by Easter eggs, rhubarb fool and shortbread.

My inspiration for this vision board came from the pastel tones of the sugar coated mini eggs and shades of spring green. The pastel shades of the eggs are echoed in both the polka dot wedding invitations and the Maisie Fantasie dotty about you wedding cake. The Easter theme of new life is reflected in the form of butterfly wedding favours, vibrant with colour. These can be filled with the sugar coated praline eggs for your guests to take home.

Spring offers the beautiful scents of lily of the valley, ranuculas and tulips. Here I have chosen a neat McQueens bouquet of lily of the valley to complement the simplicity of the elegant Vera Wang gown, ranuculas button holes and Mathew Dickenson tulip table centres.
