We have the legal right to become a son of God, because we believe in Jesus. He died and rose for us so that we have this right. We should follow his footstep to develop a good relationship with the Father in heaven. No one are born and immediately understand his calling and identity in the spirit, not even Jesus. The Bible tells us that even Jesus grew and went through a process of learning. There are at least three things we can imitate to train ourselves to be a manifested son of God.

Firstly, Jesus learned about the will of God and the destiny of himself from the words in the scripture. When Jesus came He said offering and sacrifice are not what God want. Jesus said God, I came to fulfill your will and my things are already written in the scripture.

Jesus watched the lives of His earthly parents and was affected by their testimonies. Mary experienced angelic visitations, dreams and visions about her pregnancy and birth of this great messiah. She kept them in heart and meditated day and night.

The third testimony He received is from the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit witnessed to Him that He is the son of God and assisted Him to fellowship with the Father. Jesus said the Holy Spirit would come and lead us into all truth. And this is what He experienced also.

All these are in fact testimonies. These three things told Jesus that He is the Son of God. He is the great savior who will fulfill every will of God. In the same way, these three testimonies would also tell us that we are indeed the sons of God who will fulfill the will of God also.

To become a full-grown son of God like Jesus, we must learn to utilize the power hidden in testimonies. They are records of God actions. They are our inheritance. From the testimonies of the scripture, of people and of Holy Spirit, we can gain access to unlimited power from on high. We must use this to show the good works of God, to transform ourselves and others.
