What is faith? When ever we see the words “faith” or “believe” in the New Testament, they are normally a translation from the original Greek root word pistis. The noun form of the word, pistis, is normally translated as “faith” and the verb form, pisteuo, is translated as “believe.”
According to the four Gospels of the Bible, Jesus Christ performed many miracles in the course of his ministry. These miracles can be grouped into four groups as healings, exorcisms, resurrection of the dead and control over nature. The biggest group of miracles mentioned in the New Testament involve healings.
It would be fantastic feeling if you could talk to God about anything. The kind of relationship where you and God talk about more than blessing your family and friends and finances. Maybe you know or see people who appear to have this kind of deep and personal relationship with God.
Touch is of utmost importance in the healing process. Whether you are down with the the flu or lying sick in a hospital bed, the one thing you crave most is a gentle touch, a warm hug, a mother’s kiss on the sore spot with the assurance that it is all better.
