Reiki has been around for many years, and originated around 1922 with Mikao Usui upon the Japanese mountain called Kurama. After many weeks of fasting and deep meditation, Usui claimed to have received the ability healing without energy depletion. Usui then moved to Tokyo where he then created what became known as the 5 Reiki Principles or precepts, which include: do not be angry, do not worry, be grateful, work with integrity, and be kind to others. We also know that there are some common ways to practice Reiki, including whole body treatment and localized treatment. Localized treatments are where hands are placed on a specific area of the body, usually that has experienced some type of trauma or injury. This lasts for about 20 minutes on average, and is helpful in healing the injured area.

Matter is created by cosmic sound, Matter is cosmic sound. Matter is OM, crystallized and made physical. The universe, the earth and we only exist because the Word is continuously brought forth. Remove the Word, and only the pure empty space ” ananda (the creative void as described by the ancient yogis of India) – will be left. This is the original state of the universe before the creation.

OM As A Spiritual Practice

For a yogi OM is just as real as the air he breaths. Christian mystics have felt the power of the Word inside and around them and known that the whole creation is neither complete nor ended, but is an ongoing process.

We have to understand that we are all co creators of the universe through the continual creation of our own WORDS or Music, continually bringing into manifestation through our thoughts, longings, desires and speech. We alone can choose whether our symphony is in harmony or not with the cosmic symphony.

For those who are afraid to dive headfirst into the Witchcraft pool, Candle Magic is a good way to dip a toe and check out the waters. One of the easiest, and most basic, forms of spell casting, candle magic can be practiced by anyone, even beginners, with great success. In fact, you’ve been practicing it for years, every time you blow out the candles on your birthday cake! But, this time, let’s try to consciously name a goal that’s more realistic than a pony!

One of the reasons that casting spells with candles is so easy and so successful is that it doesn’t require any special ingredients or tools. A simple spell can be cast with only a candle, a piece of paper, and YOU! Once you get the hang of it, though, you may want to try increasing the potency of your spells by including special herbs and oils to help increase your bond between your spirit and the spirit of the candle. Burning incense also helps as it lifts your spell higher into the atmosphere and helps carry it on it’s way.

The most important thing to look for when selecting your candles is to make sure the color is solid all the way through the candle. You don’t want a white candle that’s been dipped in pink paint. Choosing a candle made from an organic material such as soy or beeswax is also helpful for it’s connection to nature. But wax and paraffin candles work equally as well. Try to find a smallish candle when working with a spell that requires you to watch the candle burn until it’s burned out. Or you could be sitting for days!

Once you get used to using Candle magic you’ll find yourself casting spells all the time. So it may be wise to keep a variety of colors on hand. Generally, here are the uses for the different colors: Red – Courage and health, sexual love and lust Pink – Friendship, Romantic love Orange – Attraction and encouragement Gold – Financial gain, business success Yellow – Persuasion and protection Green – Financial gain, abundance, fertility Light Blue – Health, patience and understanding Dark blue – Depression and vulnerability Purple – Ambition and power Black – Negativity and banishment White – purity and truth Silver – Reflection, intuition

Next comes dressing, or charging, your candle. This establishes and increases the connection between you and the candle and helps combine your spiritual energies. Use a natural oil to dress your candle. If your spell calls for a specific oil, then you must use that. If not, use any oil of your choice. Begin at the top of the candle and rub the oil down to the middle. Then, begin at the base of the candle and rub the oil up to the middle, overlapping where you left off. Rub in one direction only, not back and forth, as this negates the charging.

For most basic candle spells, all you need do is simply write your goal or intent on a piece of paper. The color of the paper should match the color of the candle. Then just fold the paper and burn it in the candle flame, holding onto it as long as you can without burning yourself. Let the paper finish burning in a fire-safe container and let the candle burn until it goes completely out. Never relight the candle. Just dispose of it, either by burying it outside, or, if that’s not possible, in some way safe so no one else will light it again.

Generally, you should see signs within 3 days. If you’ve performed a love spell, you may have a dream about your love interest or even bump into him on the street. If you’ve cast a money spell, perhaps you’ll find money in an old coat pocket. If, after one month, you see no signs of success, try again. But do not repeat the same spell. Use a new candle and a new spell.

When practicing Candle Magic, or any magic at all, it’s always important to remember the Number One Rule – The energy that you put out will be returned to you in threes. If you do a positive spell, asking for a positive or helpful result, then positive energy that’s returned to you will be tripled. But if you perform a negative spell, meant to hurt or harm someone, be careful of the repurcussions!

It’s important to remember the Rule Of Three when performing even the simplest of candle magic spells. The energy that you put out will be returned to you threefold. If you do a positive spell, asking for a positive or helpful result, then positive energy that’s returned to you will be tripled. But if you perform a negative spell, meant to hurt or harm someone, then that negative energy will also be returned to you threefold!

With help from trained PSYCH-K facilitator, a client chooses an area of his or her life that he or she would benefit from changing. The two of them then work together to think of some new subconscious beliefs that would be beneficial to the client. When these new beliefs have been decided upon,the facilitator guides client through a simple process that enables the client’s subconscious mind to assimilate and start using these new and improved beliefs.

Sometimes the changes are very dramatic and noticeable during the PSYCH-K session, but they can also be so subtle that they’re hard to detect at first. Whether it happens quickly or occurs over a few weeks or months, PSYCH-K can bring about some major differences in a person’s thought patterns and behaviors,leading to major positive improvements in the client’s life.

PSYCH-K is safe, easy and even fun. It is exciting to witness and experience the changes it can bring. I strongly suggest that if you don’t like the direction your life is going you do a bit of research to find out more about PSYCH-K and what it can do for you.

An email to Phil asks: “My wife passed a few months ago. I cannot bring myself to remove everything of my wife’s. I want to keep everything as if she’s still here. My friends say I need to let go. What do you advise?”

“It depends on the age of the person involved. If we are talking about a younger person, who still has their life ahead of them, there is a point where they should move on, let go, but they don’t have to live life without being able to contact them. Accepting of the situation, yes, but still being able to retain contact.

For parents who have suffered the loss of a child, or for older people who have lost their partner, it can be of enormous comfort to leave a room untouched, and be able to walk into it and feel as if they are still in the room. This is not just a wish but a reality, and if you follow my advice, you will be able to feel them in the room and verify it.
