A lot of people are wondering about this thing called magic. Because of this, they engaged themselves in all kinds of techniques to prove its efficacy.

That thing called magic is really within ourselves if we only have the right type of attitude to discover it. Our different personality developments which are the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual are the meaning of any magic path.

Is joining a group the answer to experience the power of magic?

By now, maybe you are asking yourselves, what “magic spells” will have certain results? What herbs should you use? What “esoteric groups” do you have to join? And what rituals do you have to perform in order to experience magic?

I’m telling you none of the following is the answer.

Now I guess that this is not the answer you expected or would have liked to hear in view of the vast amount of information on magic energy and rituals available, but before doing anything at all that is likely to influence your experience and in particular Spiritual evolution in any way, it is important to understand exactly why this is.

This rituals or spells are performed because of the belief that if you know how to perform magic, you are entitled to have special powers.

This is the reason why other people are convinced to join groups which are thought to be teaching magic rituals. These groups are believed to be awarding high “ranks” to group members which they knew that such award is entitled of a special power.

Joining such groups is not against the law but then we have to be sure that we are benefited and not harmed. Of course, it depends on what group we are joining to but then again, this does not mean that there are really groups which provide us magic energy.

On the other hand, these groups can really be a threaten to an existing fights or gaps among members. I have cite earlier that other people are joining groups because they wanted to gain higher ranks or positions. Because of this goal that they have, envy among members will arise especially if one of them is granted higher rank or position than the others. Ranks or positions are gained through set of criteria or maybe because of individual relationships.

These groups are not so different with the other religious groups who promise their believers to have eternal life when they die. Different goals, different objectives but if we really study these groups, there is no difference at all. They all teach the same views.

To convince people to join in the group, the group leader promises different things in order to attract a lot of members.

In the end, magic energy and spells depend on how we work through it within ourselves. Performing magic “spells” and rituals or using crystals or herbs does not really give special powers.

Let us now face the reality that magic revolves at only one factor.

There is only one fundamental Principle in the Universe – Mind. Everything that we experience is ultimately due to Mind alone.

It follows therefore that the only way in which to achieve anything through Mind – everything else being subordinate to the Mind Principle which projects the magic energy from within in the outer reality.

There is no certain ritual or spell for us to achieve such success in this Universe. We just have to trust ourselves that magic is within our own selves and it is up for us to discover it and use it for our own good.

We can’t have or achieve such Spiritual evolution in an instant wink of our eyes. Rather we should exert extra effort for us to gain and achieve it.

If somebody has the strong intend to be involved or to practice Reiki, a proper Reiki Master Training is essential to experience the complete Reiki development.

The ability to do Reiki is not something that can be learned in the normal sense. Rather it is something which is activated or awakened within the individual through a process of Initiation ” what we call an Reiki Master Attunement.

An Attunement – the central focus of each Reiki Master Course Level or Degree – involves a special energetic transfer technique whereby the Reiki Teacher (Master) essentially re-patterns the student’s etheric field and chakras.

We can use an Internet Technology analogy. It’s a like transferring a specific data program, which enables the student to interact and work with the Reiki power. The Reiki master will download a copy of that program into your being, thereby enabling you to work and heal with the Reiki energy.

Reiki Master Training Essentials – Attunements: How to receive a Reiki Master Attunement?

The preparation for receiving a distance attunement is very simple:

Beforehand you will agree with your Reiki Master on specific date to transfer the energies. You set at least 30 minutes set aside where you will be comfortable and free from distractions. It is up to you if you want to receive your attunement before or after reading the Reiki Master Manual. In my opinion you should read the Manual first.

However, about 5 minutes before the attunements start, you should sit or lay down in your comfortable area. There is no need to be on the phone or computer during the attunement, as our connection is made possible through Spirit /Source/God/ Goddess/ The Universe/ and finally our Higher Self. After getting comfortable, you should set your intention (affirmation/prayer) to receive the attunement. Then, simply lay back, relax , and enjoy the energy. That’s it !

There is nothing else you need, except you want to create a sacred environment. You might use candles and music to create a pleasant atmosphere while receiving the attunements.

Feelings: You may or may not feel anything physically but this does not mean that the attunement didn’t work. You have been empowered with a very special gift that you may need to work with for a while before the changes begin to take place. If you have time after the attunement, I suggest taking about 30 minutes to an hour to do a Self – healing.

Cleansing Period: The first 21-30 days after your attunement are what is known as your cleansing period. During this time, you may want to stay away from the following as much as possible: Red meat, caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol. You should also drink plenty of water each day and give yourself Reiki Healings as often as possible.

This part of the Reiki Master Training is the most exciting one. Enjoy it!

Traditionally, religion and science share differing views on matters of the human spirit. In the view of religion, people are spiritual beings temporarily living on Earth, while science reduces the spirit as just one dimension of an individual. Self Mastery is a essential theme in both Christian (Western) and Islamic (Eastern) teachings. The needs of the body are recognized but placed under the needs of the spirit. Deeds, Beliefs, values, morality, rules, experiences, and good works are the blueprint to ensure the growth of the spiritual being. For Psychology, self-actualization is to realize ones full potential. Basically we can identify several human needs: physiological, security, belonging, esteem, cognitive, aesthetic, self-actualization, and self-transcendence. There are religions that believe in the existence of God and see the purpose of the human life as to serve the God. The main reason to grow in spirit is to realize that we do not merely exist. There is more to it. Even we do not know the meaning of our lives at birth, but over the course of our development we gain knowledge and wisdom from our interactions with people. Development comes through our actions and reactions to the situations we are in. As we discover this meaning, there are certain beliefs and values that we reject and affirm. So we realize that our lives have purpose. That puts all our physical, emotional, and intellectual potentials into use and sustains us during trying times. Ultimately it and gives us something to look forward to achieve, a goal and a destination to reach. A person without purpose or meaning is like a drifting ship at ocean.

Reiki Master Attunement – possibility 1 What is the most effective way to give Distance Attunements?

Once you’ve received a Reiki attunement you have the key and authorization to attune others into the same level. There are many different ways to send an attunement and eventually you will find the way you are most comfortable with. With the Reiki Manual you will receive from your Reiki Master, you will find advice on how to attune your students in several steps. This includes the transfer of symbols, which represent different possibilities you will have with Reiki . Distant attunement simply means that your student doenst have to be there physically.

The connection will take place spiritually through your both Higher Self and exchange that energy level at a particular set time.

If you want to break down the transmissions into several levels, you have to set a clear intention on which level you want to attune. But in my opinion there is no need to split a Reiki Master attunement into level 1, level 2 and Master level. Some masters do it either to focus on 1 level alone or to make more money out of it. I, personally have great results in sending the complete Reiki Master Attunements in one session, regardless what level the person was at, from beginners to advanced. Sometimes, if people want to experience the Reiki energies, I give Reiki 1 separately. However, some people think it is easier to handle the energetic changes of the 3 levels when they are split up. I personally think that the Universe knows what each person can handle or not, so I leave it up to Spirit to decide what the person is ready for.

Reiki Master Attunement – possibility 2 How to proceed a Hands-on-Attunement?

A hands-on attunement is the same as the distance attunement, except the person should be physically present. Explain your client what you’ll be doing and that he should close his eyes and put his hands in the prayer position. You probably want to stand behind him to open his aura and place the symbols in the crown chakra. After that you can move to the front for the rest of the procedure. When you finish the Reiki Master attunement let him know that he should sit for a while to ground himself. The person might imagine, that roots coming out from his feet to spread into the ground. That will help, if your client might feel dizzy or even a little nauseous for some time afterwards. Explain him that what he is experiencing is a normal reaction to attunements. Before you begin doing hands-on attunements, I would recommend that you practice on a teddy bear or pillow to gain confidence. As with all skills, practice as much as you need to in order to feel more comfortable.

Reiki Master Attunement – possibility 3 How to proceed a Healing Attunement?

Transmitting a Healing attunement is a wonderful way to give an attunement to people who have no intention to learn or teach Reiki. They only want to be healed. Naturally you have to set a different intention to reflect the nature of the attunement. Your intention is to heal your clients. You might say, for example, “May this healing attunement work for (recipient’s) kidney pain and the energies I transmit will be integrated to his/her Perfect Health now. From day to day he/her feels better. So be it.”

A healing attunement is a part of energy healing. The recipient will be attuned to your intention ” overall health, peace etc. It is also called Distant or Absent Healing.

The Reiki Master Manual will explain first, that Reiki is a form of complementary medicine, which reduces stress and strengthens the immune system, through enhancing the body’s self healing mechanism and restoring vitality.

You will also explore that Reiki can be effectively applied with other therapies, and is very effective to stimulate relaxation and recovery.

Rather than acting solely on a physical level, Reiki is holistic in its effect – eliciting a healing response across the entire spectrum of ones being – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

It can prove beneficial in the resolving of physical disorders, nervous conditions and emotional issues, and help nurture a greater sense of balance, well-being, and wholeness in ones life.

The gentle Reiki phenomenon has no negative side effects, and does not require any concentration on the part of the client.

What means Level 1 Reiki?

At Level 1, the Initiation Reiki Master Attunement opens the student to the flow of Reiki (some would say:opens them to the awareness of the flow of Reiki).

Traditionally, in Usui Reiki, the student of Level 1 Reiki is focused on hands-on therapy at a purely physical level either for self-treatment or for treating others.

However, the inner focus of Level 1 is about learning to become a clear channel for Reiki.

It is about learning to let go and let the energy flow – about learning to step out of the way – learning to override the desire of ones conscious mind to interfere in the therapeutic process, and instead, simply let the Reiki phenomenon ‘happen’.

The attitude should be almost Zen-like, compassionate, and as detached as possible. You have to learn sitting quietly, ‘no-doing’, not seeking after outcomes, Reiki just flows. If healing happens, it happens, if it doesn’t, it doesn’t – either way it’s no concern of yours.

Developing this attitude early on will greatly enhance the quality of ones journey with Reiki.

What does Level 2 Reiki mean?

Where Level 1 opens the student to the awareness of the flow of Reiki, the Level 2 Initiation/ Reiki Master Attunement deepens the quality of that flow.

Having developed the attitude of ‘compassionate detachment from outcomes’ at level 1, the Level 2 student is provided with a set of symbolic tools enabling them to ’set’ intentions – and broaden the scope of their therapeutic interventions.

Within the Level 2 training manual, the student is introduced to a set of three sacred Reiki Master symbols, and is instructed in their use as a means of:

- enhancing the effectiveness of physical level treatment – carrying out treatment at deeper psycho-emotional levels – performing distant or remote treatments – for people not physically present.

What is Reiki Level 3 ? Reiki Level 3 is commonly referred to as the ‘Master’ level, but can be more properly seen as the ‘Teacher’ level. The level represents the ability at which the practitioner will manifest the Initiation/Reiki Master Attunements to others.

This level’s Attunement brings a greater deepening of connection to the Reiki phenomenon.

The student of the Reiki Master Manual and Reiki practitioner is introduced to a fourth sacred symbol, which is the the Master symbol, and is instructed in its uses, including its significance in the Attunement process.

A complete Reiki Master Manual should include all levels including the symbols. However, Reiki Level I training will provide all the basic awareness required to practice this special therapeutic art – primarily for self-healing, and also for treating others – family, friends, pets – even household plants. Level 2 will deepen level 1 and level 3 will enable you to teach others.
