At this special time of year we hear Christmas carols just about everywhere we go. They are on the radio, on television, in the malls, being sung by groups of people here and there. All of the carols have special joy and meaning to them.
I recently celebrated a milestone birthday and that led my to do some reflecting on my life. As I look back over the years the one thing that I have seen over and over again is that God is faithful. Regardless of the situation or how things appeared at the time, God has always been faithful to me and my family. It started when I was a child and I realized that I need to accept Jesus as my Savior.
Christian counselors are able to help people who are dealing with all kinds of difficulties in their daily lives. But many people will avoid seeing a counselor because they are embarrassed or ashamed.
In having a regular quiet time with God, there are two primary goals. The first is to worship and praise God. In doing this you revel in who God is, observe and acknowledge the daily blessings He bestows, and express your appreciation for His greatness. As you meditate on His holiness expressions of adoration and praise cant help but follow. God delights in the praises of His children!
Finding the right Christian counselor for your situation can be a challenging and intimidating process. While there are Christian counselors located in most areas, most of us don’t usually know much about them or even pay attention to them until it is time to start looking for one.
