The basic teachings of the Buddha form the crux of the Buddhist religion which is practised extensively in several parts of the world today. People who practise Buddhism are expected to display unconditional love for all and try to attain the Ultimate Truth.
The best laid plans This morning I was looking forward to getting my daughter off to school, having a nice, full practice session, and then sitting down to write.

There is a lot of fear going around about the end of the world coming near. People have looked to the Mayan calendar to believe that the world will end in 2012. There are many people who believe this to be a high possibility of occurring. There are many theories on what will happen that year but what 2012: Earth Changes will truly be happening? Getting Started
Comfortable seating is a big plus in church. Less fidgeting and discomfort means more peace. This means that we will be able to concentrate on the service.
There will be a day no one will ever forget. A day that has never been seen before that day is on December 21, 2012. We will all have our questions that day. But I think it will take quite a bit of time to actually know what is going on. No one knows what will happen will we be hit by a mysterious planet, or will we have a massive climate shift? Everyone will need a guide to surviving 2012 if they expect to live.
At this special time of year we hear Christmas carols just about everywhere we go. They are on the radio, on television, in the malls, being sung by groups of people here and there. All of the carols have special joy and meaning to them.
In order to learn astral projection, you need to try and harness a tactic that your body already implements on its own. Most importantly, before trying to project, you need to actually believe that it occurs; you cannot travel the astral plane unless you initially believe out-of-body experiences are real.
